About

Horsetail Tree has a wide range of uses. It grows rapidly, has low soil condition requirements, and features a broad and deep root system that stabilises the soil. Being resistant to drought, salt, wind and sand, it is useful in preventing desertification and is commonly used for windbreaks in coastal and desert areas. Its timber can be used for boats and construction materials and is a quality source of charcoal. Additionally, its shoots can be fed to livestock.
