About
As its name suggests, Ear-pod Wattle produces fruit that is a ligulate, spirally coiled legume shaped like an ear, a characteristic echoed by its curved and falcate phyllodes. The timber of Ear-leaved Acacia can be used for pulp and furniture. In addition, due to its high heating value, it serves as an ideal raw material for firewood and charcoal. Acacia trees grow quickly and are highly adaptable, while the nitrogen-fixing bacteria in their root nodules enhance soil fertility.
