About
With its elegant form and fragrant, beautiful blossoms, Frangipani is widely cultivated in tropical and subtropical regions. It is commonly used as an ornamental plant and street tree in Hong Kong. Because Frangipani can easily be propagated through cutting and layering, it boasts hundreds of cultivars with a vast array of blossom colours, including numerous combinations of major tones such as white, yellow and crimson. The species defoliates in autumn and winter, exposing leafless branches that resemble antlers, which is the origin of its Chinese name, Antler Tree.
